About
I’m Jen Dauberman:)
I’m a multidisciplinary artist exploring the intersection of nature, memory, and ancestral ties through cyanotypes, mixed media, photography, and metalsmithing. My work weaves together personal narratives with the natural world, creating pieces that echo the past while reflecting the present.
Recently, I have delved into jewelry making, combining my passion for metalsmithing with wearable art. Fiber arts and weaving are also integral to my creative process, as I find inspiration in the textures and patterns of organic forms. Each piece I create is a testament to the connection between craft, tradition, and innovation.

Stuff I LOVE!
SC Art Education Association
I’ve been a proud member of the South Carolina Art Education Association (SCAEA) since 2005, when I first joined during grad school. This organization has been instrumental in my journey as an art educator, providing me with invaluable mentorship and inspiration. I owe a heartfelt thanks to Karen Wheeler, Meg Skow, Susan Slavik, and Kelley French-four remarkable women who helped shape the educator and artist I am today. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to give back to SCAEA, serving as the East Region Coordinator and currently as the treasurer on the executive board. This community continues to be a cornerstone of my professional and personal growth.
Golf Cart Parade
When I’m not creating art, you’ll find me embracing my love for creativity and community in unexpected ways-like competing in the annual Conway golf cart parade. From a spooky Beetlejuice theme to bringing Shrek’s swamp to life, I love designing over-the-top floats that spark joy and celebrate imagination.
Compassion Through Fashion
For the past eight years, I’ve been honored to participate in Compassion Through Fashion, an artistic fashion show and fundraiser with a powerful mission. The event celebrates creativity through designs made from recycled, repurposed, or unconventional materials while raising over $120,000 to support individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and addiction. Being part of a community that transforms art into action and hope is truly inspiring.
Art Educator
Being an art teacher is more than just a job-it’s my passion. I love inspiring my students to explore their creativity, discover their unique voices, and see the world in new and imaginative ways. Watching their confidence grow as they take risks and embrace the creative process is one of the most rewarding parts of my career. Art has the power to transform lives, and I feel incredibly lucky to guide my students on their artistic journeys every day.
